Volunteer

Volunteers required to help with home checks, foster home coordination and adoption coordination.

Volunteers required to help with transporting of dogs to and from vet clinics, airports, etc.

Volunteers are required at the shelter to spend time with the dogs, feed, water, kennel cleaning and other related duties.

Volunteers required to pick up food donations and other donations of crates, pet supplies, etc. in the Calgary Area.

Foster Homes are always desperately needed. All you need to  provide is love and care to a dog or puppy while they are waiting for a new home.

Poster Hangers are also needed. All you need is a color printer. Our posters are generated by simply enetering a code on Petfinder. Then all that is left is to print, date and hang them. This is a job that requires updating every one to two weeks.

Make Donations

Cash donations help us with vet bills, kennel supplies/hardware, crates, traveling, etc.

• $100 donation can spay/neuter a dog
• $75 donation purchases a new kennel
• $50 donation pays for a homeless dog's travel to the shelter

Our dogs love to sleep on Kuranda Dog beds, but we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price for a another dog to sleep in comfort, please click here.
